About

Darya Watnick has a Masters of Environmental Management degree from the Yale School of the Environment, where she focused her studies on agriculture and food systems, working at the intersection of natural working lands, state policy, and program development. She enjoys the challenge of figuring out how to support farmers and ranchers in adopting new management techniques.

Outside of work, Darya likes cooking and baking, especially when she hosts lavish dinner parties for her friends. She spends as much time hiking, camping, or backpacking in nature as she can. She is an ice cream connoisseur and an active member of her local Jewish community.
